CleanTwitch

Twitch without the algorithmic noise. No recommended strangers, no lewd thumbnails — just the streamers you actually follow.

Kills the homepage carousel

The big autoplay featured stream that greets you on twitch.tv is gone. No more strangers playing games you don't care about.

Removes recommended shelves

All "Live channels we think you'll like" rows on the homepage and following page are hidden. You see what you chose to follow, nothing else.

Cleans the sidebar

The "Live Channels" section in the sidebar — non-followed streamers Twitch pushes — is removed. Only your followed channels remain.

Keeps everything else

Categories, search, your followed channels, chat — all untouched. CleanTwitch only removes content you didn't ask for.

CleanTwitch collects nothing.

CleanTwitch runs entirely on your device. It injects CSS and watches for DOM changes on twitch.tv to hide content elements. That's it.

No data is collected. No analytics. No telemetry. No network requests are made by the extension. Nothing is stored, transmitted, or shared with anyone — including the developer.

Permissions used: The extension requests access to twitch.tv only, solely to inject the hiding logic into the page.
